On Monday, Alderman Debra Silverstein and the Chicago Department of Transportation publicly presented the plans for the first phase of the Devon Avenue Streetscape. The first phase will redevelop Devon Avenue between Sacramento Avenue and California Avenue.

The project is scheduled to start later this year and will make Devon safer, brighter, greener and more beautiful. Highlights include brand new infrastructure, street furniture and decorations to identify the business district. Please take a moment to see how Alderman Silverstein, the Chicago Department of Transportation and the City of Chicago are improving our Ward’s cultural and commercial center.
