On Monday, Alderman Debra Silverstein and the Chicago Department of Transportation presented to business owners the plans for the second phase of the Devon Avenue Streetscape. The second phase will redevelop Devon Avenue between California Avenue and Rockwell Street.

Design is ongoing for Phase 2, with construction scheduled to start in the Spring of 2015. Phase 1 construction, between Sacramento and California, has already begun. This project will make Devon safer, brighter, greener and more beautiful. Highlights include brand new infrastructure, street furniture and decorations to identify the business district. Please take a moment to see how Alderman Silverstein, the Chicago Department of Transportation and the City of Chicago are improving our Ward’s cultural and commercial center.
